SPACE support over 600 children who have a range of physical disabilities, complex health needs, sensory impairments, autism, ADHD, and other neurodevelopment conditions. Due to these challenges, many experience social isolation and exclusion, due to a lack of accessible and inclusive play opportunities in the community. Using SPACE, our safe, welcoming, and fully accessible environment, allows these children to engage in meaningful play, socialise, build independence and emotional wellbeing, while also providing families with much-needed respite and connection. SPACE also support families through Sibling Groups and Parent/Carer support sessions, counselling and training.
