Welcome to the MBNA Chester Marathon
The Destination
Marathon! Run on a fast course, starting and finishing at
Chester Racecourse, taking in the historic City of Chester and the
stunning Cheshire and North Wales villages and countryside. We are
the UK's only international marathon.
Our marathon is a friendly race organised by runners who are
dedicated to delivering a world class event which runners voted the
UK's Number 1 Marathon for 2012.
We are working on a number of tweaks to make next year's race even
better.
To new marathon runners, and those considering running with us in
2013 for the first time, we promise a warm welcome and a race with
fantastic support that is designed for all.
Whether you are an elite with prize winning ambitions, chasing a
new personal best time, a serial marathon runner, or one of the
many unsung heroes for whom a marathon is the ultimate challenge we
promise you a race that is tailored specifically for you.
