The race will start and finish at Chester Racecourse which
will provide a spectacular backdrop and outstanding facilities for
both runners and spectators. The fast (and mainly flat) route is on
closed roads covering 19 miles in England and 7 miles in Wales. You
will run past all Chester's iconic landmarks before heading out to
the stunning Cheshire and North Wales countryside and villages;
returning along the banks of the River Dee for a unforgettable
finish at the Racecourse. The support in the villages and
communities along the course is one of the many highlights of the
race.
Drinks stations will be at every 2.5 to 3 miles, with bottled
water at every station and isotonic sports drink at every other
drinks station. There will be chip timing with 10k and halfway
splits. All finishers will receive a quality goody bag, as well as
a long sleeved technical T-shirt and a bespoke medal.
