Welcome to the new face of the Cheshire Oaks Chester Half Marathon, a long established and extremely popular race which we are committed to further developing into a highlight of the UK's half marathon calendar. Our half marathon is a friendly race organised by runners who are dedicated to delivering a world class event.

The 31st Chester Half Marathon will take place over a fast new course which starts at Chester Racecourse and finishes in the City Centre outside the Town Hall and Cathedral.

Welcome back to those who have run the half marathon in the past, we are sure that you will like the developments for 2012 as we strive to build upon the existing reputation of this long standing event.

Many thanks to those at West Cheshire Athletic Club who have built the race over the last 15 years, we look forward to working closely with them as they help us host a great race for you on 13th May.

To new half marathon runners, and those considering running Chester in 2012 for the first time, we promise a warm welcome and a friendly race with fantastic support.

No added fees or charges for entry via our web site. Included in the race entry fee is bottled water (drinks stations every 3 miles & finish), a quality bespoke medal, technical T shirt and a special treat to give you a well deserved post finish energy boost!

The 2012 race will be limited to 5,000 runners so enter now to secure your place.
