The race starts at the city centre Chester Racecourse. The fast and largely flat route will be run entirely on closed roads. Heading northwest out of the city on wide roads, runners will rapidly settle into the race, with plenty of support and music along the way. In the second half of the race the runners return to Chester for an unforgettable finish outside the Town Hall and Cathedral.
Drinks stations, with bottled water, will be every 2.5 to 3 miles, with sports drinks and High5 IsoGel available on the route. There will be bands, music and entertainment along the way to entertain the crowds and runners. If any bands are interested in joining us, please let us know.
There will be chip timing with splits at 10k, halfway, 10 miles and 20k, with social media athlete tracking so friends and family can follow your progress.
All finishers will receive a technical T-shirt, bespoke medal and a top quality goody bag.
And why should you have all the fun! Check out the Fun Run for your young supporters.
You should find all the information you need on the web site and FAQ's. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you would like any additional information.
As with all such events, our events would not be possible without the help of a huge team of volunteers.Find out more.
