Who said tapering was meant to be fun?

Week 14 and the first week of tapering is done and dusted! I can’t say I’ve enjoyed the week massively but I think that’s just down to nerves and starting to worry that I’ve not done enough!

Anyone else feel like that?!

Can’t say I have particularly enjoyed any of my runs this week but nothing went drastically wrong so I’m grateful for that. I loved my gym and swimming! It was nice to do something different, especially when the running side isn’t feeling as positive!

Ended the week with a 12 mile run, mostly with some friends from my running club. We ran a section of a 40 mile local race. I was hoping there would be more roads than there was, as it was mostly trail which took it out of me! I stuck with it though and got the miles in.

Onwards and upwards to week 15!
