Feel amazing as you run for your local children’s hospice, Claire House Children’s Hospice – this year’s official race charity. The hugely popular event is one of the UK's longest running and well known half marathons and guides you past some of the city’s most famous landmarks. Whether you’re a beginner training for your first run or a keen competitor chasing your personal best, the Essar Chester Half Marathon is not to be missed. Cheering supporters will motivate you and your fellow Claire House runners as you return to the city centre, passing the Chester Town Hall and Medieval Cathedral. You’ll feel fantastic as you cross the finish line on Northgate Street, with a spectacular backdrop of the Cathedral.
