Mini Marathon 2020
Sunday 4th October 2020
Entries for the Mini Marathon will open on 1 September 2020
We're looking forward to welcoming Mini Marathoners and supporting them on their run around The Racecourse. The Mini Marathon which will be open to anyone wanting to take part; however it is aimed primarily at children. Accompanying parents, guardians and grandparents are welcome - but please note you need to enter too.
The Mini Marathon will be conducted wholly within The Racecourse, starting at the Start Gantry and finishing at the Finish Gantry.
Each Mini Marathon participant will be given a souvenir race t shirt and race number, with all finishers receiving a bespoke medal, bottle of water and a treat.
Adults accompanying/running with their children also need to enter the Mini Marathon.
The Mini Marathon is also raising funds for our race charity Northern Lights Children's Charity.
The Mini Marathon entry fee is £4, or £5 including a £1 donation to our race charity.
This is a fun run and not a race with the aim being to involve as many people as possible. With this in mind, everyone is a winner and there are no official timings or prizes.
MBNA Mini Marathon Marvels Trophy
Our magnificent glass trophy is presented to the local primary school with the most runners taking part in the MBNA Mini Marathon.
Introduced as part of our 10th anniversary celebrations in 2019, the first recipients of the trophy were Belgrave Primary School. The pupils were delighted when we presented them with the trophy, which they get to keep for 12 months & display in the school’s trophy cabinet.
Will your child’s school be named the Chester Mini Marathon Marvels winner in 2020? Remember to name their school on entry to be in with a chance of winning.
