Entries will open in August.
The Mini Marathon is open to anyone wanting to take part, and is aimed primarily at children. Accompanying parents, guardians and grandparents are welcome - but please note you need to enter too.
The Mini Marathon is approximately 1 mile and will be conducted wholly within Chester Racecourse, starting and finishing at the Start Gantry.
Each Mini Marathon participant will be given a souvenir race t shirt and race number, with all finishers receiving a bespoke medal, bottle of water and a treat.
Adults accompanying/running with their children also need to enter the Mini Marathon.
The Mini Marathon is also raising funds for our race charity Hope House Children's Hospices.
This is a fun run and not a race with the aim being to involve as many people as possible. With this in mind, everyone is a winner and there are no official timings or prizes.
MBNA Mini Marathon Marvels Trophy
Our magnificent glass trophy is presented to the local primary school with the most runners taking part in the MBNA Mini Marathon.
The winners of the 2022 Mini Marathon Marvels Trophy was Huntington Community Primary School. The award was introduced as part of our 10th anniversary celebrations in 2019. The pupils were delighted when we presented them with the trophy, which they get to keep for 12 months & display in the school’s trophy cabinet.
Will your child’s school be named the Chester Mini Marathon Marvels winner in 2023? Remember to name their school on entry to be in with a chance of winning.
Never miss our training runs or special offers!
