Prize Fund 2023
The MBNA Chester Metric Marathon 2024 cash prize fund is shown below. All prizes will be based on gun time in the race.
Prizes are equal for male and female runners, with cash prizes for the top 3 and for age group and team prize winners.
The overall prizes for male and female top five will be awarded:
1st place £150
2nd place £100
3rd place £75
The first male and female finisher in each 5 year age group from 35-39 onwards, will be awarded a £40 cash prize.
If a runner wins a prize in more than one category, the prize of the higher value will be awarded.
