Runners leave the racecourse and head into the City centre passing the Town Hall, Cathedral, split level Middle Ages "Rows", Eastgate Clock and Amphitheatre before leaving Chester along Boughton.
Turning down Sandy Lane the route passes alongside the River Dee and through Huntington onto rural country lanes. After running through Aldford then you reach the turnround point, and join the marathon runners on the return to Chester, to finish in Grosvenor Park.
First Aid at the start, along the course and at the finish will be provided by St John Ambulance.
Never miss our training runs or special offers!
