We are looking for enthusiastic people to join our lively, dedicated team of volunteers, who support our runners when they need it the most and help to create an amazing race experience.  

Volunteering is a fantastic way to make a valuable contribution. It enables you to get involved in sporting events, meet likeminded people and develop new skills. Currently, we have over 500 volunteers helping to make our events some of the best in the Northwest and the UK. 

You don't need any special skills to volunteer –we are looking for enthusiastic, proactive individuals with common sense, a smile and plenty of enthusiasm.  However, if you have any particular experience or skills that you think might be useful, let us know. 

Also as a huge thank you, for your time and commitment our volunteers receive a technical race crew t- shirt, goody bag and refreshments on the day.  

Volunteer as an individual 

 Whatever your role, your contribution is vital both to our events’ success as well as all the money it raises for our worthwhile charities 

Rolesinclude: course /venue set up and pack up, marshalling, help desk and delivering equipment and supplies to stations around the course 

Volunteer as a group 

Why not volunteer with a group of friends, workmates or with a club or community group! Volunteering with other is great fun.
